Pros: Handle Material, Ease of Opening, None
Cons: Lock Type, Lock Ease of Use
It is what it is as a budget trainer
Overall, it's sturdy and reasonably well built as a training tool. Flips decently and the action is smooth. The one complaint I have about this is major, but I remedied it with a pair of pliers rather easily, and with it out of the way, it's no longer a problem. That issue being the latch. It's thick, there's no gate (you get what you pay for), but because of the latter, it often swings up too high and gets stuck. This becomes a major problem while you're flipping, as it wedges up, gets stuck, and separates the handles. It's very annoying. The pins do not allow for you to remove it, so I had to simply break the damn thing off completely. As it's a trainer, I really didn't need the latch anyways and this thing is way better off without it.Of course, had I not been able to break it off, this would have resulted in a lower score. But the latch is definitely a big drawback.
