SGPCCFCFFTI: Mid-Tech Coin Claw Folding Knife, Carbon Fiber
Serge Panchenko Custom Knives
This Coin Claw is one of the designs for which Serge Panchenko is best known. It's sized just over an American Silver Dollar at 1.625" in diameter with a 1" hawkbill blade. It's a mid-tech folder Serge has made by Millit Knives in Idaho to his exacting specifications. The blade is made from CPM-154 stainless steel with a nice stonewashed finish and single thumb stud. It's a slipjoint knife with a strong detent and very unique action. The ball detent system is something Serge utilizes on many of his designs so they can be carried in more localities since they do not lock. The handle is made from carbon fiber with a 6Al4V titanium backside with stainless steel Torx screws holding it all together. The flamed titanium pivot looks excellent against the stonewashed titanium and it shows the thought Serge puts into his designs. If you want a simple everyday carry blade or neck knife that is unique, utterly well-built, and sure to be a talking point, look no further than the Coin Claw folder.
