SP152STIBLP: C152STIBLP Blue Stepped Titanium Chaparral
Spyderco

Spyderco’s Chaparral series is a family of gentlemen’s folding knives that express the same elegantly slim pocketknife format with a variety of state-of-the-art handle materials and treatments. These exquisitely crafted knives showcase Spyderco's most advanced manufacturing techniques and feature full flat-ground CTS-XHP blades, sturdy back lock mechanisms, and reversible wire clips that blend discreetly with virtually any color of clothing.

After a complex initial machining process, the scales of this stepped Titanium Chaparral are color anodized to a brilliant blue hue. They are then painstakingly machined a second time to reveal an astonishing pattern of alternating colored layers. As always, thickness of the handle and the weight of this knife make it among the best compact EDC folders on the market.

Perfect for you pocket
I purchased this knife when on sale and then I used some of my points also , to get a great deal on this knife . This knife is just the right size for EDC . Made from all the good stuff , and its lightweight , sharp as you need it to be . Rock solid and snaps tight , great lock up . Its a nice looking knife , but it borders on being fancy or having a gas station look . I did take my sharping stone and went around some of the edges to remove some high point sharp edges on the milled handle , just a little TLC where needed , very little . I like to carry this knife more than my Para 3 and because its about 3/4 the size of my Para 3 . More of a gentle mans type of knife rather than a workhorse . but I am sure it can handle most things a EDC should be able to do .

GREAT knife, except...
My first purchase from Knife Center. The size, leangth, thickness of blade and handle are perfect for a classy EDC. It came scary sharp and locks up with a solid satisfying snap. Only downside is the blue anodized scales. Not sure if this is the reason for such a discounted price, or I got a dud, but the blue is very very inconsistent. Under the clip it is very vibrant, elsewhere it is far less blue and has inconsistent shades, nowhere near the color under the clip. Almost gives it a used/cheap look right out the box. But that is my only issue, other than that it is absolutely wonderful.
