UC3074: Honshu Sword Cane
United Cutlery
This sword cane is a beast when it comes to self-defense. This heavy-duty sword cane offers a strong, partial crook handle constructed of injection-molded nylon with fiber for a strong, sturdy grip. The 16.75" blade is constructed of 2CR13 cast stainless steel with a satin finish and a razor sharp edge. The shaft is constructed of injection-molded nylon with fiber, just like the handle, making this sword cane virtually indestructible. The end of the shaft also features a rubber tip, making it easy to navigate through icy streets and uneven sidewalks.

Great buy !!
. This is a good sturdy cane for walking and no one would have a clue that their is a 16" spike inside. The cane itself is pretty heavy and the spike is really intimidating . Although they tried to make the handle ergonomicly correct, it still takes some getting used to and I found it a bit awkward . All in all , this is a great prouduct and I'm happy with my purchase .

Sword Cane for the Outdoors?
I'm disabled and needed a cane to ease my trips hiking in the woods. This cane is Nylon composite and very strong. The shaft is waterproof and hollow allowing space for numerous items like matches, maps, or whatever. The blade is needle sharp (no edge) and offers some last ditch defense against aggressive animals. The finger grips on the handle are uncomfortable and required some sanding to fit my hand properly. I think the handle finger grooves were made for much smaller hands. The foot is wider than most cane tips but not splayed. The Cane is heavy but I like that. The handle/sword assembly is secured in the canes shaft by rubber O-rings rather than any locking mechanism. This seems to work fine and I've had no problem with it. I think this Cane could be developed further for Hikers, Campers, or Preppers and would prove popular to older Outdoorsmen. I'm adding some Paracord to mine.
