Michael Zieba Heritage Slipjoint Folding Knife 2.875" M390 Two-Tone Blade, Natural Canvas Micarta Handles
ZBAHSJNCM: Heritage Slipjoint Folding Knife, Natural Canvas Micarta
Michael Zieba Custom Knives
In an effort to make a traditional two-handed folder that was legal to carry in all 50 US states, Michael Zieba began his road to the knife you see here now. Dubbed the Heritage, this slick folder pays homage to the innovations that led to what we have today. If it weren't for slipjoint knives, we'd never have the frame lock that Michael makes each and every day.
When thinking of a design to transform into a non-locking EDC abuser, why not start with a platform you're familiar with and one that already hits many of the points you're trying to nail. That is of course the S5 Mini, the sized-down variant of his collaboration with ABS Mastersmith and Forged in Fire judge Jason Knight. This knife possesses a distinct tactical look and feel while being sized just right for daily carry and discrete cutting tasks. The Heritage is the exact same profile but with a distinctly thinner pocket presence thanks to its simpler construction. It features an extremely strong detent that definitely requires two hands, a half-stop safety, and generous lanyard hole. Its stout opening and closing translates to great peace of mind and a feeling that this slipjoint can handle tasks others can't. Brand new from maker. Handmade in the USA.
