Description
ZT0630: Model 0630ORBLK
Zero Tolerance Knives

ZT and Emerson are back for more with the 0630. The powerful upswept tactical blade, excellent for slicing cuts, is made of Crucible S35VN with a black DLC finish. S35VN is tough and chip resistant and enables ZT to sharpen the blade to a razor edge. When it’s time to re-sharpen, S35VN makes that easier, too.

Of course, the 0630ORBLK features the patented Emerson "wave shaped feature" that enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket. By the time the knife has been fully withdrawn from the pocket, the blade is deployed and ready for use. A small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam, opening the knife as it comes out of the pocket. This Emerson instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.

The ZT0630ORBLK's handle features an orange G10 front scale with a black DLC titanium back. A titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert ensures lock up security. The reversible pocket clip lets you carry comfortably left- or right-handed.

Sprint Run
Emerson fan and ZT fan so I dig their contributions and their collaboration on this knife to bring us this fine product. I rotate my EDC, this one is in my lineup. The paracord lanyard I made in black/neon orange with a titanium bead when added to this wave opener would make a rabbit spit in a bulldog's face. It is on the large end of the spectrum for EDC; not everyone's cup of tea but right up my alley. Quality materials (thank you), craftsmanship (impressive) and design (thanks Ernie). I like the Orange scale (suppose you could replace it with a custom scale if you so desired or simply didn't care for the bright color; to me the scale(s) is/are not a deal breaker for owning a knife like this) The most significant detail I didn't realize before delivery was; even as nice as Knife Center's website photos/videos are and the many details they list and even after reading reviews, was just how much nicer this folder is in person both to the eye and after handling it. Like a true Emerson, it's a bit stiff until you lube/break it in: it gets better with age.

Another great ZT knife
Love the bright orange textured G-10 very grippy without being too rough. The wave feature is a nice addition, easily deploying while being drawn from pocket.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
This is somewhat misleading. It should show both sides of the knife.
The pictures online were misleading in that they did not show the black backside of the handle. Other than that it is a great knife for the price.
