Cold Steel

The Cold Steel Pro-Lite was developed with one clear aim. To offer a folding knife with all of the strength and durability that Cold Steel fans and customers have come to expect from their products but at an even more affordable price! Designed by celebrated custom knifemaker Andrew Demko, the Pro-Lite Sport features a stonewashed 4116 Stainless Steel drop point blade (also available in clip point or tanto configurations) that will take a very sharp edge, while still being incredibly easy to re-sharpen in the field.

It also features a tough matte black polymer handle with integrated lanyard hole and reversible ambidextrous pocket clip for left or right handed users. Equipped with the groundbreaking Tri-Ad locking mechanism for added safety and strength, the Pro-Lite has withstood all of the grueling and torturous quality control tests that Cold Steel is famous for. Pros: Blade Material, Weight, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Lock Ease of Use, None
Decent knife
At first I did not like this knife at all the lock was terribly tight the opening was hard. I opened my blade to 90degrees for a day and it took some of the tension away and I messed with the pivot and oiled it and now it’s a pretty good knife the lock is still a bit stiff for my taste but I’m not killing my thumb to real ease it. The edge retention is holding up well and I have used it a lot. The feel of the knife is pretty nice and lightweight. I wish they would have made the hole for opening alittle bigger.

Decent
The knife comes very stiff. Best to do what we used to do in the old days and leave the knife in a half opened/jacked knifed position for a few days to weaken it to make it a little looser. Hole for opening could be bigger and would be a great knife if it had liners. Great angle on the blade edge and with a strop, you can make it unbelieveably sharp. Pro: Good blade steelCon: Very stiff/not easy to open, No liners, Opening hole too small

ProLight knives
Good solid knife in your pocket. Cold steel quality in a inexpensive knife. The Tri-Ad lock maybe difficult for some but for the impressive security I'll deal with it, no proplem for me opening or closing, guess I have strong hands. Quit buying other brands of inexpensive edc's, but still some other nice knives out there. Getting all three blade shapes. Received my Tanto today from Knife Center today. Drop point to go! Buy em you'll like em !!!
