The Import Line brings a new level of value to the ever-growing Brous Blades product line. We were astounded once we had them in our hands to feel the quality these knives possess. It's like you're getting an American-made Brous product with nicely textured Zytel scales which we find very appealing. The action, blade steel and frames, apart from their all-titanium counterparts, are the exact same as the more expensive models they are based on. If you're on a budget, looking to get a great gift for a friend, or just getting into knives and are looking for that perfect combination quality and price, you've found it in the Import Line from Brous Blades.

A collaboration design by Jason Brous and Jason Moriel-Riboloff from Tanium Design, The T4 was created to fulfill a multi-use category such as a fighter, everyday carry or survival knife. The D2 blade is a multi-purpose hollow ground modified drop point and makes re-sharpening effortless. The T4 utilizes an integrated flipper for quick blade deployment on a ball bearing pivot system as well as an elegant recessed finger groove on each side for easy and comfortable thumb opening. The handle scales and backspacer are made from Zytel with aggressive milled angled grooves for a secure and comfortable grip in any weather condition. The proprietarily designed backspacer is in response to many wanting an open-backed flow through folder that is easier to clean while maintaining the strength of a solid backspacer. Brous Blades accomplished this with a larger cutout in the main area while keeping the jimping on the rear for good gripping performance. The stainless steel liner lock adds strength and function to this flipper knife. The knife can be deployed either with the flipper or manually with the recessed cut out in the blade. The clip is machined and positioned for right-hand, tip-up carry. Although the blade is quite large, it is very comfortable and the closed length is small compared to similar blades. For the money, there is absolutely not a better knife on the market, so you can buy an Import Line Brous with the utmost confidence.

Very nice!
This was a gift from my son this Christmas. The other knives in my collection are numerous Benchmades and 1 Spyderco. Though not one I would have chosen, this knife is really nice! Definitely on the larger, and more aggressive looking end of the scale, but good feel, pleasant ergos, and snappy action. No misfires yet, and this is only my second flipper. Very sharp out of the box, went through all this Christmas packaging like butter. Good looking stone wash on the blade. The thumb recesses are milled into only the right handed opening side of the blade, as reflected accurately in the photos, but not in the written description. Too much grease on all the knife parts. If this is really on bearings, I look forward to disassambly and re-lubing with lighter oil, I imagine the action will be terrific, as it’s already very good. Perfectly centered, with very early lockup, which gets a little better (@25%) with strong flipper opening. For what it’s worth, I don’t think the knife I received is hollow ground, as stated in the description. Seems flat ground to me, though it’s not very high and I’m no expert. All in all, though it’s big and a little heavy, a really nice-feeling knife for the price, I’ll enjoy using it.
