Great blade
This is a great blade! It has held up well to use as a hunting and general purpose field knife. The sharp blade has retained an edge well while carving up deer and performing moderate woodworking tasks. I personally would not baton with this blade due to it not being completely full tang although I carry it often and do trust it to any other task. For continued sharpness, regularly stop and clean this blade. It hasn't acquired any rust although like most concave blades of this quality you will want to protect it best you can. I hope you enjoy this knife as much as I have over the past seven years.

Pretty
Quite nice, the handle and sheath looks superb with a dotted red laquerVery good steel it seemsNot a very good factory edge, but i fixed it very quickly, unfortunately it will take quite a bit of effort to fix the terribly low grindNot a good handle shape for fine work as the front is literally cylindrical and quite wide... like an opinelHalf tang, checked with magnetIt came with some kinda strange goop on the edge which i had to scrape off with another knife, it gunked up my stones badly
