WEK901E: 901E Deacon Folding Knife
We Knife Company

We Knife Company has been around the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.

The 901 Deacon is modeled after the 703 Flipper but in a distinctly more compact size and totally different theater of use. The Deacon shines as an EDC knife, perfectly sized to disappear in the pocket until its number is called. It also features a construction method that we can only describe as premium. The handle features a titanium frame with integral bolsters... nothing new, but if you look a little closer, you'll notice something special. The titanium frames are actually inset into the carbon fiber scales so as you look down the spine of the knife, you only see the carbon fiber scales and bronze bolsters. There are no liners visible, which may not seem huge, but it actually is. This shows We's continued effort to put out the best knives possible and it also attributes to the thin overall form factor this knife possesses. It's a subtle feature but one that truly transforms this knife into a premium EDC piece to rival any of the best ones currently out there.

Color me impressed
I’ve been a knife collector for several years now, I have bought hundreds of knives. I can’t think of a knife that I have ever been more impressed by than the Deacon. Right from the box I can tell this is a blade I am going to love. The size is in that sweet spot that is perfect for edc , not too large and not too small. The fit and finish are absolutely perfect. The carbon fiber is so nicely done , it has a sheen to it and the seam between the cf and the bolster is so perfect it appears like it’s a single piece. The action, omg, is so snappy and the blade falls shut with nearly no effort. Ok now the lockup is something I’ve never noticed on a knife before, the hardened insert sticks out way further than I’ve ever seen before and is 100 percent locked in. It’s just something you’d have to see. The blade centering is also, you guessed it, perfect. I’ve been wanting thus knife for a while but kept putting it off to buy BMs and ZTs etc but now that I have it I truly wished I’d bought it much much sooner. Buy this knife I’m sure you’ll be more than happy with it.
