Quality knife added to the line by Benchmade Knives

477-1 Emissary. This is another outstanding Osborne design. This larger version fits the male hand well. It can also be your EDC for work and rough operations. As an Auto-assist it opens and works quickly and quietly. It has ZERO blade play. The safety moved to the upper spine is easy to engage either open or closed. If you have small curious children around it makes for great overall safety. The only drawback to some is that it is somewhat heavy. I like a heavy feel in larger knives.

Best clip on a knife!

I love this knife, but more importantly I love the clip. It is secure. And rides low in your pocket. Well worth the money!

I'm still in awe

My wife just got me this knife for my bday, and god bless America it is great. The handle feels very comfortable in my hand with a very nice grip. The weight itself carries a bit of value, and once the blade is deployed, you see why. At first, the blade takes a little more power than anticipated on the thumb stud to deploy, but after the itty bitty threshold, the blade will fly out. Is it out of control?? No, it locks with certainty and attitude every time. The S30V steel shines and slices like butter. I could go on, but this knife is worth every penny. Not to mention, the color is quite becoming on me.

Gentlemen's Knife

Different than a regular Benchmade knife, in a good way. The blade possesses a finer edge for better cutting and the anodized handle offers a sure grip. I would definently categorize it as a gentlemen's folder.
