Best knife I own

I’m a retired police officer with 35 years of experience. I have carried many knives, and this is the best. I have large hands and this “mini” fits my hand like a glove. Ergonomics are excellent and the blade is a cutting machine. If I could own only one knife, this would be it

Revised review...small, sharp and just about perfect

My first review was submitted too soon. I didn't like this knife at first. I was disappointed immediately after taking it out of the box. It was too small, too light weight and felt cheap in my hand. It reminded me of those cheap little plastic key-chain knives sold in merchandise promotions. However, after putting a small lanyard with a hex nut on it, the added weight changed my perspective on this knife. With the weight issue addressed, the first impressions of cheap, plastic knife were no longer apparent. This is a quality knife. The lock mechanism is impressive after studying it up close. It's small, but it's actually a perfect size for an EDC pocket knife. Benchmade should discard this handle\scale material though and use something that will provide so proper substance or weight to this small knife. I don't think the G10 scales on the -1 models are that much heavier than the plastic on this knife. Anyway, on day two, I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase.
