Great Product - Horrible Distribution

I use this product for fishing and it's nice to have one tool that can accommodate 90% of the required tasks when spooling and rigging my rods and reels. The Grip, Blades and materials are high quality and I like the fact there is a spare set of blades for the scissors included. Now, what was horrible was the delivery of the product. It took several months to receive the product so I will take my business elsewhere the next time I have a need for a cutting tool.

Splizzors are awesome

I have used the Splizzors for everything in and out of my boat, they have held up wonderfully to cutting my spider wire, smackdown brade, power pro, and I even by accident cut the split ring off one of my 1.5 s. For these other people that throw them in the trash, bad idea, BUCK has a lifetime WARRANTY, I think its actually called a forever warranty. You break these just send them back and get another pair. Nothing cuts line like these bad boys, no tension needed on your brade for a clean cut. Keep them oiled up and they are good to go. I am buying several more for Christmas gifts, they are awesome.

Great investment

I use this for fishing all the time - I find it very useful and well built - although a little pricey, I feel it was a good investment and I'd definitely recommend this to other anglers.

Expensive Bottle Opener

I hooked a 3-4 ft. Nurse Shark while fishing near Key West, Fl. After landing and while removing the hook the shark made a sudden headshake, the lower pliers tip broke off. I threw the splizzors in my rod bag (the scissors stilled worked). When I returned home and began cleaning and doing maintenance on my gear, I reached into my rod bag to discover that the remaining portion of the broken tip had broke off too. It broke off at the handle. I threw it in the trash. I will retrieve it to take pictures of my expensive bottle opener/split shot/crimping tool.
