Hogue comes through
PROS - 154CM steel - Belt clip works flawlessly in grabbing and releasing the knife - G-mascus scales feel high quality - Hogue doesn't disappoint - KnifeCenter shipped very quickly CONS - Might be too small for some hands - Karambit style isn't for everyone REVIEW This is my first karambit but not my first Hogue. If you buy a Hogue, you expect a certain level of quality, and Hogue doesn't disappoint with this little fixed-blade offering. The EX-F03 is a small knife, which not everyone likes. I don't like things around my neck, so I probably won't use the neck sheath. I like the belt sheath, although if you wear it on your side, you have to figure out a rotation angle that works for you. If you work in an office, you might want to rotate it downward so that the handle goes into your pocket o make it less obvious that you have a knife on your belt. Workmanship on this knife is very high. The scales have excellent texture, and the knife itself is nicely finished. The blade is made of premium 154CM steel and arrived with a very sharp edge. I found that with my little finger through the hoop, it felt best if I pushed the knife deep into my hand.so that the front edge of the handle is pressed against where my fingers extend from my hand. Otherwise, the hoop felt uncomfortable. The deep jimping, which has been polished, is correctly placed. Your thumb falls naturally onto it. No buyer's remorse from me. The weight is about right.
