Possibly the nicest (non custom OTF Auto)

In point form. Superb build quality. Great blade utility and speed of deployment. Good sheath that can be attached readily to gear. Personally, the size does not bother me but some may find the handle a little long for a pocket carry, but having said that it does sit very deep in the pocket. I use as a daily carry and mine is a dual edge plain, would highly recommend to anyone.

OMG

Excellent quality! Great feel in the hand, and can't tell when it's in your boot! The glass breaker is nice, but sticks out a little too much. On the other hand, it would make a nice dent in someones face in CQC.

Excellent knife, hard to open and close

I thought it might just be a single knife but I got two of these in different styles and blade types. The slaughter that opens and closes the knife will wear the skin right off your thumb. Especially when you try opening it and closing it to try to break it in some. No idea what is up with quality control on adjusting the spring tension but it is way too tight.

Blade rattles around

I was so excited when I first received my Combat Troodon. The knife, blade, casing and sheath is of the finest quality materials. The only complaint I have is that the blade when locked in the up position rattles around loose. I realize that OTF knives have to have minimal play for the blade action to work correctly, but Microtech should have inserted set screws that couyld be tighten to minimalize the play like the Sand Shark knife, or insert a spring and bearing to have some tension on the blad so it is not rattling around. Except for this intial blade play, the blade is very solid and I have confidence in it. It's ashame to have that high quality knife with a high price have a blade that rattles around. Once Microtech fixes this problem, this will be hands down the best knife I have ever known. I send several emails to the company making suggestions of how they could correct this issue, but it appears they are not customer freindly. My real honest assessment...
