Pretty nice!
Way better than a steel and excellent quality for the price. Much easier to keep this in the knife block than breaking out the sharpmaker for simple touch ups

Perfect for a backpack.
I expected it to be larger when I ordered it, but found it to be the perfect size to throw in a backpack. It is very light weight and because of this does not feel very durable at first. However, after a few weeks of using this rod, I can say that it will put a razor edge on a blade (suitable for touch up jobs). I would not depend on it exclusively in the field for long trips only because I have yet to test it on a extremely dull blade yet.

Great sharpner
This Ceramic sharpner works great and I love the handle on it, makes it easy to hold and protects your hand from the blade. This is the thing to have to put the finishing touch on your knives.

It works
I'm not very good at keeping an edge on a knife and can barely get by with a sharpening steel. This works just as good as a steel, but because it's ceramic I get worried that I'm going to strike it too hard and break it. It's about half the weight of a steel and the grip is very comfortable hard plastic. There are deep grooves that run from handle to tip.
