* Nice Hawk *
I have to agree with "So Close". After opening the box and getting the feel of this weapon/tool, I immediately got my roll of electrical tape and covered the Para Cord with it. I was very careful to securely press it into the handle and it not only looks good, it feels good. The Para Cord felt slightly waxy to me, not a good thing for a heavy bladed tomahawk. Other than that, I love it! I highly recommend this USMC licensed item.

So Close
Great tool for miscellaneous camping tasks. My only issue is the para cord handle. The weight distribution (heavy towards the head) creates a lot of torque as you swing, It frequently feels like I'm going to lose my grip, and have the tomahawk fly out of my hand, and that is obviously not good if there are people or pets meandering around. I am hoping the grip will improve with more use, but I am very close to just taping over the handle with electrical tape or something similar, which is a little disappointing in an item that otherwise is a great camping tool.
