SwissChamp
This is nice. I try to use the tools on the knife first before I go to my tool box. My only complaint ... after all these years, you would think Victorinox would notice that the USA does not need the corkscrew. Europe drinks a lot more wine than USA. Replace the corkscrew with a bigger phillips screw. That goes with all the models not just the SwissChamp.

Victornox Swiss Champ (Black) with Leather Pouch
The merchandise was as advertised, and delivery occurred without incident in a timely manner, as predicted. The entire transaction was as easy as it could possibly have been. The seller is well worthy of future business!

The only "Every Day" Tool
The is my "every day" tool, I'm a Navy submarine vet, ex-trucker/owner operator (for 20 years) and currently I work in a machine shop and can't recall a day that I haven't used this knife. Been carrying it for at least 20 years and the only problem that I could have with this knife, is what it can do to the pockets in a pair of blue jeans [shares the same pocket with a Leatherman (has bigger pliers) and a big set of keys]. Other than that this tool goes everywhere with me except the bowling alley and that's because I have all the tools for bowling in my bag. Oh yeah, after 5 to 10 years of use you might break one of the springs for the scissors or pliers and since they're a $1.50 for 6 on KnifeCenter.com today, that might make it last a lifetime for you! Yeah .... ok, after about 15 years of everyday wear and tear the Swiss Army emblem did come off the handle so there, you made me come clean. If I were "Tim the Toolman Taylor" I'd say OH, OH .. OH, OH, OH!

The knife has what you need
Bought one of these only a couple months ago, but that short time hasn't stopped this thing from making itself useful more times than I can count. The craftmanship is top quality. The blade material is that perfect balance of being almost totally immune to rust, and at the same time taking and holding a really razor shard edge. The rockwell hardness of the blade is 56-57, which is just perfect for this type of knife. Its a little bit large for a pocket, but throw it in the backpack or glove compartment and you have a toolbox worth of tools in the palm of your hand. Buy a little leather case for your belt, throw some matches and fishing line inside, and you have an excellent survival kit. Many owners of Victorinox products will testify that you can truly expect a lifetime of service. Buy one now.
